Iowa is PIHA Division Champions

Central Iowa's Leaf Ray is the Rocky Mountain North Division Champions.

The team came into the weekend as the 2nd seed with a 13-7 record.

First series up was against the 3rd seed Monument Thunder. The first game was close but Leaf Ray ran away with it at the end in the 5-2 win. The 2nd game clinched the series as Leaf Ray dominated the whole game with a final score of 7-2.

The next series was against the #1 Falcon Vikings. The Vikings controlled the first game taking it 2-5. The 2nd game Leaf Ray came out scoring early setting their pace and winning 5-1. The final game was not even close. Leaf Ray dominated and controlled the whole game. Final score was 7-2.

With that Leaf Ray was crowned the division champions on onto PIHA Finals at the end of March to play the other 5 division champs for the League Championship.
