Spotlight - Blaine Barker, Pro-Inline Goalie

Coach Blaine Barker has been around Inline Hockey for over 25 years. He started playing through his local YMCA in Newton IA before joining a league at Sk8 2000 under coach Rob Kooker.

Blaine went on to play for the youth travel teams Des Moines Snappers and Iowa Spirit before playing at the pro level in NARCh and TORHS Nationals in 2004-2007. In 2012 he signed with his first of many PIHA (Professional Inline Hockey Association) Team. Blaine has played 11 seasons in PIHA collecting 7 Conference Championships.

He currently plays with the PIHA team Des Moines Leaf Ray, the MIHA Team Lake City Leaf Ray and coaches both Xplosion Rec and Xplosion Elite programs.
